These Terms & Conditions are an agreement between you and Aca Maulana, an independent developer publishing under the name Wanakerta and based in Purwakarta, Indonesia (“we” or “us”). They apply when you download or use the Harbour Android app.
Harbour is built to make personal financial records easier to keep and understand. These terms explain what you can expect from the app and what we ask from you in return.
The short version
- Harbour is a personal finance record-keeping tool, not a bank, payment service, accountant, or financial adviser.
- Your records are mainly stored on your device. Check important information and keep a backup if you cannot afford to lose it.
- Calculations, imports, AutoWrite, restores, and Ask Pilot can be wrong.
- Harbour Plus is sold through Google Play. Uninstalling Harbour does not cancel a subscription.
- Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.
What Harbour does
Harbour helps you organise accounts, transactions, transfers, budgets, recurring entries, bills, and related information. It also includes summaries, optional backups, and preview features such as AutoWrite and Ask Pilot.
Harbour does not hold your money, move funds between real accounts, read live bank balances, make investments, file taxes, or promise a financial outcome. What you see in the app depends on the records available to Harbour, including information you enter and optional notifications you allow it to read.
Your responsibility
Please keep your device and connected accounts secure and only enter information you are allowed to use. Check amounts, dates, currencies, accounts, categories, balances, budgets, bills, and other important results before acting on them.
You are also responsible for reviewing AutoWrite results, checking that a backup can be used, confirming the result of a restore, and verifying important Ask Pilot answers against your records or an appropriate professional.
App Lock can help prevent casual access inside Harbour, but it does not replace Android security. Someone who can unlock your device or use a connected Google or Hugging Face account may be able to access related information or services.
Preview features
AutoWrite is an optional preview currently designed for notifications from supported apps in Indonesia. After you grant Android Notification Access, it tries to turn eligible notifications into transaction drafts or, if you choose, saved transactions. Notification formats can change, so results may be missed, duplicated, or incorrect. Harbour is not affiliated with the banks, wallets, marketplaces, or other notification sources it supports unless we clearly say otherwise.
Ask Pilot is also a preview. It runs a downloaded AI model on your device, but its answers may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Do not use it as your only basis for a purchase, loan, investment, tax filing, legal matter, medical decision, or another important decision.
Preview features may change, pause, or be removed more often than stable features.
Calculations and summaries
Balances, cash flow, budget use, credit information, comparisons, and other summaries depend on the records and settings in Harbour. Missing transactions, an incorrect currency or account type, or an older restored backup can change the result.
Harbour aims to calculate and present this information accurately, but you should treat it as a personal record rather than an official bank statement or professional report.
Backups and restores
Harbour can create an export file and, if you choose, keep backups in Google Drive. Backups can fail, become damaged, be deleted, or stop working with a future version. Keep another copy if the information is important to you.
Restoring a backup replaces Harbour’s current database with the selected backup. Check its date and contents first. App Lock is not included, so restoring a backup does not replace App Lock on the destination device.
Google Drive keeps the latest and previous Harbour backup in Harbour’s private app area. Disconnecting Google Drive does not automatically delete files already stored there. Backup contents are encrypted by Harbour, but not with a personal end-to-end encryption password known only to you.
Free and Harbour Plus
The current Free plan allows up to:
- 3 accounts;
- 2 budgets;
- 1 recurring transaction rule;
- 3 custom categories; and
- 2 manual bill rules.
Built-in categories do not count toward the custom category limit. Bills created automatically for supported liability accounts are separate from the manual bill limit.
We may change plan limits or feature availability as Harbour develops. If a change materially reduces an existing plan, we will give reasonable notice through the app, store listing, or another suitable place before it takes effect when practical.
Harbour Plus may be offered as Monthly or Lifetime access. The price, billing period, and features shown in Harbour and on the Google Play purchase screen at the time of purchase form part of the offer.
Monthly subscriptions
Monthly Harbour Plus subscriptions are processed by Google Play and renew automatically unless you cancel through Google Play before the renewal date. Google Play shows the applicable price, tax, billing date, trial period, and payment method.
Uninstalling Harbour, clearing its data, or disconnecting an account does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation usually stops the next renewal, while access may continue until the current paid period ends.
Refunds are handled under Google Play’s rules and mandatory consumer law. “Restore purchase” asks Google Play and RevenueCat to check an existing purchase again. Restoration may fail if you use a different Google account or the store has an unresolved issue.
Lifetime access
Lifetime means Harbour Plus access without an expiry date or recurring renewal for as long as Harbour remains available and operated. It is not a promise that Harbour, every feature, every connected service, or every Android version will exist forever.
This definition does not remove any refund, repair, replacement, or other remedy provided by mandatory consumer law.
If Plus ends
If Harbour Plus ends, expires, is refunded, or cannot be verified after the supported offline period, your plan may return to Free. Data above the Free limits is not automatically deleted, but some of it may become read-only until Plus is active again or your use returns within the Free limits.
Read-only data can still be viewed, exported, or deleted where the app supports those actions. Harbour may also prevent new transactions or automation that depend on a read-only account, category, budget, recurring rule, or bill.
Permission to use Harbour
We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable licence to install and use Harbour on devices connected to your Google Play account, subject to these terms and Google Play’s rules.
Harbour’s name, design, code, and original content belong to us or their respective licensors. Third-party libraries and downloadable AI models remain subject to their own licences.
You may not use Harbour to break the law or violate someone else’s rights, bypass purchase or security controls, distribute an unauthorised copy, disrupt Harbour or a connected service, or reverse engineer the app except where the law expressly allows it.
Connected services
Harbour may connect to Google Play, RevenueCat, Google Drive, and Hugging Face for specific features. Each service has its own terms, privacy practices, account rules, and availability. A provider may change or discontinue a service or experience an outage outside our control.
We are not responsible for another provider’s account decisions, model licences, notification formats, or service failures. This does not limit any responsibility that the law does not allow us to exclude.
Changes and availability
We may add, change, pause, or remove features to improve Harbour, respond to security issues, follow the law, or keep this independent project sustainable. We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption and give reasonable notice of material changes when practical.
We cannot promise uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every device, Android version, model, or third-party app.
Warranties and liability
Harbour is built and maintained with reasonable care, but software can contain bugs and local data can be lost. To the extent allowed by law, Harbour is provided “as is” without a promise that it will always be accurate, uninterrupted, secure, or suitable for a particular financial purpose.
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or opportunity, decisions based on inaccurate records or AI output, or loss caused by a device, third-party service, unsupported notification, or unusable backup.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where it cannot be excluded, or any mandatory consumer right. Any other limit applies only as far as the law permits.
Stopping use
You can stop using Harbour at any time. Deleting records, using Clear Data, clearing Android app storage, and uninstalling Harbour have different effects. None of these actions automatically cancels a Google Play subscription or deletes an external Google Drive backup.
We may restrict a connected feature when reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, protect security, follow the law, or meet a provider’s requirements. We will not remotely erase your local financial database as a routine enforcement measure.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia. This does not take away mandatory consumer protections or access to a court or forum that the law of your country requires.
You are welcome to contact us first so we can try to resolve a problem informally. You do not give up any statutory complaint, regulator, mediation, court, or other mandatory remedy by doing so.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when Harbour, the law, or a connected service changes. The “Last updated” date will change, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes before they take effect when practical.
Continuing to use Harbour after updated terms take effect means the updated terms apply, except where local law requires another form of notice or consent.
